Below are some enhancements I'd like to make to URL Clerk in the near future. I'm not promising that all of these features will be implemented, but there's a pretty good chance they will. If you have any ideas of your own on how URL Clerk could be improved, please feel free to send me some e-mail (my address is jeffp@dorsai.org, but you can just open up the URL file named "My E-Mail Address" to send me mail.)
And now, listed in no particular order, my personal to-do list for URL Clerk:
• Get rid of those modal dialog boxes and replace them with modeless ones.
• Allow Netscape bookmark lists to be converted to URL Clerks bookmark files.
• Boolean searches for URLs.
• Improved balloon help (as of this release, most features have balloon help, but some are missing it, and one or two buttons have wrong messages. This should definitely be fixed soon.)
• Improvements to the scheduled launch feature (such as time intervals of less than 5 minutes and multi-URL launches.)
• An area to enter comments about each URL. The comments should be searchable.
• Improvements to the user interface, such as a better way of changing preferences and setting the cursor to a watch during long operations.
• A new icon.
• Lots of other stuff I can't remember now.
